As God would have it, our beloved Joseph Eddie Foday Conteh died on April 2, 2024 in the presence of his family and loved ones. Joseph is remembered as a happy person, a determined person amid adversity, and a kind person with a golden heart who would go the extra mile to bring joy, peace, and love to his community. Joseph has a trademark infectious smile and laughter and his presence is always illuminating.

Mylik Edwards, affectionately called "Leek," was born to Jason Edwards and Mesha Shorter. Mylik was blessed not only to have his parents but was also blessed to have his grandmother Roslyn Edwards. Arthur Cole, affectionately known as “Butch,” was born in Houston, Texas. He was born 3rd out of five children. As a young boy, Arthur attended A.B. Lester Earl Benson was born in Needville, Texas to Scott Benson Sr. and Elvira Lewis Benson. Ruby Clarice Williams was born in Columbus, Texas. As a young girl attending Columbus Colored School, she was a Majorette. During this time, she met her future husband, Herman D. Williams. They married and their loving union birthed eight children. They raised their family in Alleyton, Texas where she remained a stay-at-home mother and wife.
